Legal Framework
The company was established under Egyptian law as a joint-stock company (Commercial Registration No. 2001, dated June 2, 2021). It operates in accordance with: Law No. 34 of 1976 regarding the commercial register, Law No. 159 of 1981 regulating joint-stock and limited liability companies, Presidential Decree No. 284/1997 establishing GAFI (General Authority for Investment), Prime Minister Decree No. 1656/2020, and Law No. 23/2018 on Science, Technology, and Innovation Incentives along with its executive regulations. The NRC Board of Directors approved its establishment on April 26, 2021, with full ownership by NRC.
